Join us this Thursday, Oct. 8th at 7:30 for our Chapter meeting at the Whippany American Legion. Our special guest will be Fly Tying World Champion Ted Patlen. Please see below for Ted's bio.
Please note that we will once again meet in the upstairs room. Additionally, though the meeting time is 7:30pm, we will allow a few minutes at the start for socializing. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Ted’s Bio:
I’ve been very lucky to have been born and raised in a region near a wide diversity of fish species which influenced my development and range as a fly tyer.
Winner of seven fly-tying world championships, I’ve been invited to demonstrate at fly-fishing venues from the rocky shores of the Pacific coast, across the states as well as Canada, from a 12th century convent in Italy, north to Scandinavia, to the heart of British Isles……as well as on a hot dusty parking lot in Roscoe, New York.
