Roy B. hails from Morristown, NJ and began fishing rivers and ponds around Morris County with his grandfather as soon as he could walk. Roy converted to fly fishing at age 17, after reading Trout Bum, too much Hemingway, and viewing A River Runs Through It. Since then, Roy has fished NJ, NY, PA, NC, VT, CA, and CO and recently fished in Hokkaido, Japan.
Roy began working and guiding for Shannon's Fly and Tackle and continues at South Branch Outfitters where he writes the weekly report.
