Fly Tying Monday, November 18 with Scott Fisher

Scott Fisher is a fly fisherman and fly tying instructor, NJ guide for South Branch Outfitters, and J.Stockard Pro Tyer. Scott is most passionate about Catskill style dry flies and historic flies. He is also a well-rounded tyer, tying wet flies, nymphs, various style dry flies, and more. Come to the fly tying session at 6:45 PM on Monday, Nov 18th at the Parsippany Library, 449 Halsey Road, Parsippany.

Egg: McFly Foam (any egg color)

Veil: Milky white

Tail: Pheasant tail 

Body: Pink flashabou mirage

Thorax: Purple laser dubbing

Bead: #14 (2.5mm) Chartreuse tungsten 

(Bring uv resin or instant glue)

Hook: #18-20 Mustad Curved Caddis

Thread: 12/0 Olive

Tail: Mallard flank dyed wood duck

Body: Olive thread 

Thorax: Brown squirrel dubbing 

Wing: Light/medium dun cdc puff

Split Casing: Mallard flank dyed wood duck
