10th Annual clean-up of the Whippany River!

Bethel AME Church 59 Spring Street - Morristown. The Whippany River, which flows through Morristown, has been impacted from the flooding that occurred during hurricanes and storms over the years.

Last year with the help of our volunteers, 90 trash bags of garbage and debris weighing 4,000 lbs. were removed from this part of the river.

The clean up is open to anyone who wants to participate. Garbage bags, gloves and safety vests will provided by WRWAC. The Town of Morristown has volunteered to pick up and dispose of all garbage and debris collected.

Be sure to wear waterproof boots, shoes or waders.
