Join us for HBTU’s trip to the Flat Brook. We will meet at 9 a.m. sharp in the parking lot of the former Mezza Luna restaurant which is at the corner of Route 206 and County Road 560 (also known as 103 US-206, Branchville, NJ 07826). There should be plenty of eager freshly stocked, holdover and stream-bred trout. Little black stone flies, small BWOs, Quill Gordons, Blue Quills, Hendricksons, Grannon Caddis, worm patterns, wooly buggers, other small streamers, midge nymphs, October caddis, and, of course, mop flies should do the trick. Some of us will likely grab a beer and a bite at the Layton Hotel & Tavern afterwards.
