Tim Glynn is a member of Hacklebarney TU. He founded Suburban Fly Fishers in 2021 to share his love of the sport and help make fly fishing less intimidating and more accessible to others. His first fly fishing trip was in 1981 on the Pequest with his grandfather who traveled extensively to fish for trout on the fly. While an early career in music found him more often in clubs and bars like CBGB's and The Stone Pony in the late 80's and 90's, spending time with his young kids put him back on NJ's varied trout waters since the early 2000s.
Tim enjoys sharing his passion for the sport and exploring streams and rivers that most people only experience from a car window on the Garden State Parkway or Turnpike. He's fished in Central Pennsylvania, the Poconos, the Upper Delaware, the Catskills, Connecticut, Vermont, Tennessee, and of course across New Jersey's varied trout waters.
With over 70 days on the water in 2022, Tim has worked with all levels of fly fishers from newbies to experts making each trip educational and fun.
