Zoom Chapter Meeting with Rick Little, Thursday, September 9th

Rick Little is a self taught fly fisherman who has had the opportunity to learn from some very knowledgeable outdoorsmen and fishermen. Much of what he has learned came from observing nature and skillful fishermen on the water, and conversations about fish, flies, fishing and life, around Coleman lanterns and campfires on many rivers. Rick has been active in conservation organizations for years – including serving as president of Trout Unlimited Chapters in Manchester, NH and Bangor, ME. His presentation is called “Fly Fishing in Maine is Wicked Fun” is the main event.

ZOOM CHAPTER MEETING WITH AARON JASPER, Thursday, June 10th

Screen Shot 2021-05-23 at 9.20.12 AM.png

Aaron Jasper fishes an average of 200-250 days a year, and has been fly fishing since the age seven. He really lucked out when he began fly fishing, because his Aunt was an acquaintance of Lefty Kreh through his photography seminars. In the beginning Aaron was lucky enough to be given several lessons, at fishing shows, from Lefty. He remembers the 3 flies Lefty had personally tied, which he gifted to a young Aaron, and he of course fished them on the Flat Brook in New Jersey. All those masterpieces eventually ended up in the same tree.

Please join us Thursday, June 10th, at 7:30 on Zoom. Aaron will speak on summer trout fishing. You should receive an email from our president, Jim Langell, with all the details just before the meeting.
