Want to Learn to Flyfish

Every year Hacklebarney TU holds our annual fly fishing classes. These classes are great for people who do not yet know how to fly fish. We teach them basic entomology and how to cast as well as how to break down a river. Whether you are teaching a child or an adult they will learn a lot and have a great time doing so. We highly encourage you to bring a novice fly fisherman to these classes. Below is all the information regaurding the fly fishing classes.

Our Annual Fundraiser

Every year we hold a fly fishing banquet for our chapter members and anyone else they would like to bring. During this banquet we hold bucket raffles, have silent actions and by the end their is a grand prize for one lucky person. The banquet is a our biggest source of revenue which allows us to keep doing the great things we do in regards to conservation. Money aside it is a great time to meet new people or, plan new trips, get new fishing gear, or even introduce someone to the world of fly fishing or conservation so they can see how it can bring people together. We would love to see everyone there, and urge you to bring a friend. It is always a blast and the more people we have the merrier it is.
