Blue Ribbon Trout streams

At our meeting in March Tom Gilmore, the author of the wonderful book "Fly Fisher's guide to Pennsylvania," will be coming to talk about the blue ribbon trout streams that are located in Pennsylvania. This is a great presentation in which he reveals the best of the best trout streams in PA and gives us fly fisherman the upper hand when it comes to finding locations to fish.  We hope to see you at the meeting and if you are unable to attend we urge you to pick up this worthwhile book. 

Iceland Experience

This meeting is on Febrauary 9, 2017 and will be a good one. Our fellow board members Rich Cotter will be giving a great presentation on his fishing trip to Iceland. This will be a meeting with cool stories and a chance get see what fishing is like in Iceland.

January Meeting

This is the first meeting of 2017, which will be held on Thursday January 12th at 7:30, and it is a great way to start off the year. Here members can learn new fly patterns that will expand their arsenal and catch them more fish. We will have two guest fly tyers: Tim Flagler of TightLine Productions, and Mike McAuliffe of Regal Vices. In addition, Cliff and Erich Frie will represent some of our HTU accomplished fly tyers. This is one of our most popular meetings, with a chance to learn some new tying techniques or fly patterns. We hope to see everyone there.
